Q: What do I do if I am having trouble with a card?
A: First, call the number on the back of the card to determine balance. If there is no balance speak to the operator and ask for card history information. Usually you will answer all of your questions with this information. If the operator tells you the card has never been activated contact T.R.I.P. Consultants.
Q: Can I exchange my gift cards?
A: Occasionally the wrong line will be marked. T.R.I.P. Consultants attempts to exchange them for you but cannot guarantee exchange, so please carefully select your merchants when filling out your order form.
Q: What do I do if my card is lost or stolen?
A: Unfortunately, gift cards are like cash. They cannot be replaced so please take the same care with your gift cards that you would take with cash.
Q: Do my cards/certificates expire?
A: In most cases, they do not expire. If you have a question about a particular card’s expiration read the back of the card. If you find that a card is close to expiration or has expired, contact the number on the back of the card.
Q: Why does my credit information on my label go down sometimes?
A: Once a pay out of credits has been made the “buckets” get zeroed out and you begin saving again. Payouts are generally in November/December and May/June for most schools.
Q: Why do I sometimes get more or less credit than the discount that is on the order form?
A: Gift card discounts are continuously changing. T.R.I.P. Consultants constantly tries to give you the most credits that you can earn. We have many discount changes between order form updates and will pass them along as they occur.
